Trust & Integrity

Last updated: 30 August 2026

1. Our integrity promise

Trust is the product Master Reviews is built on. These commitments apply to every review, reward, and business on our platform — the same rules for everyone.

  • We never pay — in points, money, or anything else — for reviews on Google, Facebook, or any third-party site.
  • We do not review-gate: every rating, positive or negative, is sent to the same public destination. Businesses cannot pay to suppress low ratings.
  • Reviews must be genuine and based on real experiences. Fake, fraudulent, or misleading reviews are prohibited and are removed.

2. How rewards work (and how they don't)

Master Rewards points reward engagement with a business on Master Reviews itself — never on third-party platforms.

  • Points are awarded only for first-party actions on Master Reviews (writing a review, making a purchase, referring a friend, visiting on a birthday).
  • A review only earns points after it passes AI moderation. Flagged, spam, or low-effort reviews never earn rewards.
  • Points have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may expire under each business's Rewards Passport rules.
  • We never offer bonus points or any incentive for posting a review on Google or any other third-party platform.

3. Fake and fraudulent reviews

Every review is screened by AI moderation before it is published or earns any points. We apply the same standard to every business and every reviewer.

  • Reviews flagged as spam, offensive, fake, or suspicious are held back and never published until reviewed.
  • A business cannot pay us to remove or hide a review. Reviews are removed only when they violate our guidelines.
  • Attempts to manipulate reviews, points, or rewards — by businesses or consumers — can result in content removal, point forfeiture, and account termination.
  • We deliberately do not publish the exact moderation rules, so bad actors cannot game them.

4. Business commitments

Businesses using Master Reviews can grow their reputation without jeopardizing their Google profile or violating third-party policies.

  • Our review-request and response tools are designed to comply with Google's review policies and applicable consumer-protection law.
  • Sponsored deals and paid placements in the discovery feed are always labelled as "Sponsored" so consumers can tell paid promotion from organic results.
  • A business's plan tier never affects whether its reviews are published, hidden, or removed.

5. Your consumer rights

We honour consumer-protection rights in every region we operate in.

  • Argentina: gift-card purchases are covered by the Botón de Arrepentimiento (Ley 24.240) — you can revoke a purchase within 10 days for a full refund.
  • Argentina: gift cards carry a minimum validity of 6 months, with the validity period disclosed before purchase and partial redemptions supported.
  • Privacy: we handle personal data in line with GDPR, CCPA, the Australian Privacy Act 1988, and Argentina Ley 25.326. You can request deletion of your data at any time.

6. Continuous improvement

Integrity standards evolve. We update these commitments as our platform, the law, and industry best practice change. If you believe a review violates these standards, you can flag it from the review page or contact our support team.
